Hello, my name is Jan Jagiela, but call me Johnny. I live in Starachowice – small city near Kielce in Poland. By heart I'm a humanist, but lately I got interested in programming. I am a passionate front-end developer, proving that Humanists Can Code.

I like to know things, and how they work. I always ask questions to expand my knowledge. It's always a good idea to leverage on someone else's experience.

While writing I'm trying to keep the code simple and easy to read. I know that only hard work can make me a better programmer. Every day I am trying to learn new thing – not only about web standards, performance or new js and css features, but also about UX/UI and other similar topics. Recently I have become more interested in js frameworks – mostly reactjs. Whether I stick to front-end or venture deeper into server-side this experience is invaluable.

For entertainment I play video games or watch some e-sports tournaments. However that's not all. Cycling, hiking around local woods and mountains, visiting medieval events and ruins – that is what I choose on weekends.
